Sascha is a senior studying Mechanical Engineering. She is interested in materials and structural behaviors of dynamic spacecraft systems, and does research on high strain rate mechanical systems in the Ravichandran Lab. On the side, she is a writer for the California Tech newspaper and President of the Caltech Arts Guild club. In her free time, she enjoys rockhounding, baking, fermentation, gardening, and construction projects.

April is a freshman studying Biology & Business, Economics, and Management. She conducts research focused on developing strategies to treat chronic infections in relation to biofilm spatio-metabolic activity. Aside from CURJ, she is also part of Caltech STEM Ed & Outreach’s executive team, an editor for The California Tech, and helps organize Science Olympiad and Hacktech. In her free time, April enjoys baking, reading, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends.

Alana is a freshman studying Chemistry. She is interested in the intersection between chemistry and space science, with past research looking at how molecules interact under the extreme pressure conditions inside planets. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, thrifting, exploring California, listening to music, and journaling.

PRIYANKA SUPRAJA BALAJI

Priyanka is a freshman studying Mechanical Engineering and is interested in developing next-gen robotics systems for space exploration. She has conducted research on human robot collaboration, sensor fusion, autonomous navigation, and predictive modeling technology. Priyanka is also a freshman representative on the Academics and Research Committee. In her free time, she enjoys building 3D puzzles and listening to music.
